Most my couples come to me saying “we feel awkward in front of the camera”- I get it. That’s why I do my best to make you feel like you’re not in front of one. First, I do this by connecting with you and getting to know you as a couple. Then when we’re taking photos I help create moments between you and your partner that allow you to reminisce on your past together and get excited for your future together. Most of our time together will be spent with you interacting with your partner (not me).
When it comes to the wedding I help with timeline creation, location scouting, and anything else you may need advice on. I’m as hands off or as hands on as you need me.
On the day of I am capturing all the moments you didn’t know were happening. I’m also helping direct and make your day go smoothly so you don’t have to worry. I don’t just stand there and take photos in our scheduled photo time, I’m ready with my camera from the time I arrive to the time I leave. I go above and beyond to make sure your day is running smoothly, capturing everything you want and more, and after the day you can expect sneak peeks by the time you wake up.
My style leans more documentary/photojournalistic with touches of fine art. My editing style is true to life (but with a little bit of spice) and film-inspired.
It's probably why my love and skill for photography grew exponentially. In college I would watch a video a day about photography. This learning attitude translates to my business today as I try to continually grow as an artist & business owner.
Coincidence that I fell in love with WEDDING photography? I think not.
I love being there for my couples and helping out in anyway I can! If you need any advice or suggestions for anything let me know.
I ran cross country for 8 years and it not only gave me so many beautiful off the beaten path locations (yes, I would love to share) but also a sense of adventure & exploration. I will go to the mountains and find the perfect location for you (if I don't already know it).
