drop some details below. You’ll hear from me within the next 24-48 hours.

let's connect

If it sounds like we might be a good fit, the next best step is to let me know you are interested here (link to contact form). We will schedule a quick chat [for free] where I can learn about the details of your wedding day/weekend. You can share your vision for the day and how you’d like your photos to represent this and we can walk through the full process of what to expect together.

You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident so that you fully enjoy your day (and your photos!).

There’s something about the click of a film camera, that satisfying sound of the shutter capturing a moment that will never exist again. It’s fleeting, intimate, and utterly irreplaceable—a tangible reminder of the way love feels.

My clients often love that their film photos feel like a memory. Of course, even in film photography, there are tricks and trends that I am happy to apply as we discuss what you like. Ultimately though, nothing beats the romantic, timeless feeling that film photography creates.

Why film photography for my wedding?

Digital photography can never replicate film. The style of film can only be created by a film camera. Analog photography and videography renders light and color differently than digital. Film is able to capture a higher intensity of color and render the contrasts between light and dark shadows in a single image better than digital can. This means your photograph can capture detail from your highlights and your shadows insteads of choosing one over the other. With film, you also have the beautiful effects of halation– the spreading of light beyond its proper boundaries to form a fog around the edges of a bright subject in an image.

Before the days of digital photography, there was 35mm and 120 film. 35mm was for the consumer. When you flip through old family scrapbooks, this is likely what you are thinking of. 120 film or medium format was used by professionals for family portraits or special occasions. I use both.

If you want to get granular about how 35mm and 120 film photography works, I’d love to answer all of your questions when we chat.

What is 35mm and 120 (medium format) wedding film photography?

Think of wedding photos in two categories: Staged and Candid.

Staged photos are often posed. You might even hear the photographer say “1, 2, 3, cheese!” before they take the photo.

Candid photos capture the moment authentically. While we will capture some intentionally posed photos on your wedding day (especially to ensure you get photos with all your loved ones), the focus of our work together will be organic, beautiful images that transport you back to your wedding day for years to come.

What makes you a photojournalistic wedding photographer?

I also offer Super 8 analog videos—grainy, nostalgic little movies that feel like a love letter to your wedding day. There’s a raw, cinematic quality to Super 8 that matches the aesthetic of my photography: warm, full of life, and completely you.

Watch Adriana & Jordan's wedding day on Super 8 here to get a feel for what this looks like.

what about videography?

There are a lot of details on your wedding day.

The floral arrangements, the set list, the seating chart. But once the rose petals have fallen off their stems and all the delicious food has been eaten, what will remain of the day is your memories.n Your photos are an extension of that. They help keep the memories alive decades after your wedding has come and gone.

You can find all my packages and prices here.

What all does my investment cover?

You can find more of my work on Instagram, see what couples have shared about working together on Google reviews , or ask me your questions face to face by booking a chat here.

The best place to learn more is to chat with me. When you submit this inquiry form, we can turn this monologue into a real conversation to make sure this is the perfect fit for your special occasion.
